Hundreds of people are busy with the construction work, and the construction of the second phase comprehensive processing platform of "Deep Sea No. 1" has been accelerated.

The second phase comprehensive treatment platform of "Deep Sea No. 1" consists of a lower jacket and an upper production facility. It is about 136 meters high, equivalent to the height of a nearly 49-story residential building, and weighs 14,000 tons. The total weight is about 9,000 cars. Currently, more than a hundred people are busy installing platform pipelines and facilities to prepare for the subsequent equipment commissioning.

According to the chief engineer of the Engineering Construction Center of the Hainan Branch of the Hainan Branch who led the on-site introduction, they immediately completed the docking and installation of the lower jacket and the upper production facilities of the "Deep Sea No. 1" second phase comprehensive processing platform. Deploy personnel to board the platform and start follow-up operations. The work of connecting the east-west module structure, welding 8 main columns, installing more than 300 pipelines, laying nearly 50,000 meters of cables, and conducting stand-alone and joint debugging of the remaining 33 subsystems is in full swing.

Between the east and west modules of the upper module of the platform, a "gully" more than 2 meters wide extends from the bottom deck to the top floor like a chasm. This is built in a single group of two modules. and formed in separate hoisting. Workers installed "I-beams" at the "sky chasm". With the cooperation of the platform crane, the 8 mm thick decks, cut and polished according to size, were hoisted to the top of the "I-beam", compacted by workers, and then welded and polished. The "sky chasm" became a "smooth road." .

On the middle deck of the platform, there are various equipment and pipelines, and dozens of on-site personnel are busy connecting the pipelines. They shuttled between the gaps of various equipment, carefully performing pipeline assembly and welding operations.

At the jacket at the bottom of the platform, workers are welding and grinding the eight interfaces between the pile legs and the upper module. These 8 interfaces are the key points to ensure the stability of the entire platform. On-site personnel constantly changed the welding position and performed fine welding and polishing. This place is close to the sea, and more than 10 meters below our feet, the waves are constantly rushing towards the legs of the pile, creating strings of fine waves.

At the Yacheng gas field production platform more than 100 meters away from the "Deep Sea No. 1" Phase II comprehensive processing platform, on-site personnel were busy replacing pipelines and equipment.and other adaptive transformation work. The person in charge of the transformation site said that after the second phase of "Shenhai No. 1" is put into operation, the peak annual production of the entire "Shenhai No. 1" ultra-deepwater gas field will increase by nearly 50%. The Yacheng gas field production platform will undertake part of the processing tasks of these natural gases. The person in charge said: "Since December 2022, we have begun construction and transformation of the Yacheng Gas Field production platform, and have now completed 80% of the transformation work. We will continue to optimize work arrangements, strengthen quality and safety management, and ensure that we are on schedule Complete all construction tasks."
